  • Large grass fields

  • Ground manager available on site

10 rounds + 1 finals week

  • October 4, 11, 18, 25, November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, December 6

  • Playoff round December 13 (or Dec 20 if rained out)
    • 1 v 2, 3 v 4, 5 v 6
  • Season may extend to include Jan 10, 17 and 24 if multiple washouts cause rounds to require rescheduling.

 King George Park Summer Soccer Comp

Welcome to King George Park Summer Soccer, Inner West’s football competition for women and girls.

We’ve five competitions in total, ranging from Under 9/10 to over 30s.

  1. U9/10 (1 spot full)
  2. U11/12
  3. U13/14 (3 spots left)
  4. U15/16
  5. AAW (1 spot left)
  6. O30s (age group full)

The U9/10 competition is seven-a-side while all other competitions are six-a-side (including a goalkeeper). Each competition is open to everybody. At KGP, we welcome new and established teams, beginners and experienced players, mums and daughters, schools and clubs. The ability to have fun is the only talent you need.

Kicking off in October, 2023 competitions run on Wednesday afternoon to nights at the following times (times are subject to changes depending on competition numbers):

U9/10 @ 4:30pm

U11/12 @ 5:00pm

U13/14 @ 5:35pm

U15/16 @ 6:10pm

Seniors will rotate time slots between 6.45pm, 7:30pm, 8:15pm.

King George Park is a beautiful place to play soccer. Located next to the bay run between Callan Park and the Iron Cove Bridge, three grass pitches offer plenty of space and a view second only to seeing the ball hit the back of the net.
